Ann's Fairy Costume

Ann seems to just love the camera. As soon as I get the camera out, she is posing. This is the $47 costume I bought for her Ballet Recital that she is no longer going to be in. I signed her up for dance and she took for a few months. At first it was fun because they learned ballet steps and all sorts of stuff. But then they started learning the dance for the recital. That is when things went wrong. The teacher was a perfectionist, but Ann just wanted to dream and twirl during class instead of learn the dance. I didn't feel right taking a crying girl to ballet class. I will wait until Ann is a little older and make sure the teacher is a little nicer and patient.

Cute pics of your girls, Janna! don't you love how much dance costumes cost? Last year Claire got 3 (that she wore a total of TWICE for performances) and it cost me about $90. This year her dance teacher told us that the girls were only getting a top and it would be a lot cheaper (it's the dance top she's wearing in the picture on my blog). It was $30 stinking bucks!

We have that glow-worm that Kim has, too. Audrey got it for Christmas when she was 11 months old and she still plays with it!

That stinks she never got to wear her costume because that's probably the cutest costume I've EVER seen! You should have her be Tinker Bell for Halloween next year.

I remember how much Kim LOVED that glow worm. She would freak out if Ava ever tried to touch it! I'm excited to see your girls. They are BOTH SO CUTE!!!

All I can say is dress up, dress up, dress up! She'll probably play with that everyday. My kids just love dressing up. When Katherine was that age she was Belle everyday! Sometimes even when we went out in public because it just wasn't worth the fight to make her change. Ann sure is cute in it! Your family is just too cute!

At least it's a fun dress up to have... and Kim will love it when she's older too!

I am so glad you finally updated your blog! All my kids have a glow worm..its just one of those toys they love. I think Ann will get plenty of use out of that costume....hopefully 47 dollars worth! She does look pretty darn cute in it though...and that look is "priceless" right! She is getting so big and beutiful!
