We are enjoying our new home. The neighborhood is great and we love our yard. The kids love having a bunch of stairs. I love having an unfinished basement where all the toys and video games belong. The kids spend hours down there. It is nice having more room.
It was also wonderful that mom, dad, Amy, (3 of her boys), Jill, and Kali (and Ava) came to Nebraska and helped me paint and decorate the main floor. Without there help, the whole house would be white with bare walls. I've been here a month and still haven't even started on the bedrooms or bathrooms. I will give myself 6 months to get working on those rooms.

What a cute house and yard! I love the floors and the color scheme. Everything looks great. I don't think you should stress about decorating. Take your time and enjoy it. Your mom once told me that she wished she could have the first 10 years of her house back, because they were the funnest...figuring out what she really wanted her house to look like. That being said, I can't wait to see what you do with that fabulous window seat in your bedroom!
